Supporting vulnerable people: fundraising campaign launchedKinshasa, May 3rd, 2023 (CPA) – A fundraising campaign in favour of vulnerable people in the Democratic Republic of Congo was launched on Tuesday in Kinshasa by the Ministry of Social Affairs, the CPA noted.
« The objective of this campaign is to put in place various fundraising strategies with different partners, to mobilise in six months, 30 million US dollars to support vulnerable groups, needy people and dependents of the country’s defense and security forces, » said the Minister of Social Affairs, Humanitarian Actions and National Solidarity, Modeste Mutinga, at the launch of this campaign.
« We are convinced that with the scientific methodology implemented, we will easily reach this objective in December 2023, being proud to have brought to the head of these minister consistent reforms, » he added.
