Key responsibilities :

• Working closely with the Kindu Nuru Site Director and EPC team to address any community or stakeholder issues with regard to the construction of the project
• Perform stakeholder assessment and engagement mapping
• Building and maintaining positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective delivery of the construction of the project
• Delivering any community event or sponsorship opportunities throughout the construction phase of the project
• Act as the main representative and ambassador to the community in Kindu for Nuru
• Management of internal procedures to ensure community engagement is well-managed
• Management of all forms of communications and resources with responsibility for keeping information current and relevant
• Attending community events in Kindu to develop community connections and foster a sense of long-term community commitment
• Managing logistics for key external stakeholder engagement activities such as community consultation events, and local communications events.

• Demonstrated experience in communications and/or stakeholder engagement in Renewable Energy or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and coordinate project events including community engagement, visits, and media
• Strong project management skills with the ability to adapt with ease to rapidly changing work priorities and deliver results
• Languages: French, Swahili and English.
