BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Career Options Africa Group is a HR Consultancy firm specialized in Recruitment, HR outsourcing and Immigration support in Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa and South Sudan.

Our client, an award-winning, reliable, customer-centered and innovative business consultancy firm in Africa, is looking for the expertise of a Business Development Executive for DRC branch.

THE JOB:

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for revenue generation by securing new clients, managing key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with existing accounts and maximizing emerging or existing sales opportunities.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out research on DRC consulting sector to identify opportunities
  • Cross-selling company products to existing clients to augment the company’s revenue
  • Establish relationships and secure contracts with new clients and grow existing clients' business
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services and operations offered by the company
  • Playing an integral role in new business pitches and support effective on-boarding of new clients
  • Act as an interface between the client and all relevant divisions
  • Keeping track of contract maturity and re-negotiating for extension
  • Networking, Cold calling and visiting potential customers
  • Carry out continuous competitor benchmarking.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The job holder should have the following qualifications.

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting set sales target
  • Proficient knowledge of CRM and Sales automation software.
